dynamism goals and where they stand (edited 20090817)
1) Users will be able to easily modify some elements of the theme.
uh yeah it's been possible since NCEvo/dubaiOne
2) The theme will not be completely static.
it's just a matter of me remembering
2a) The theme will implement different visual styles, AS ONE THEME.
no not happening SOMS2 is doing this.
3) The theme will not be limited to one gametype.
i'd like this to happen this is a goal of moonlight.
4) This is meant to be an "open" theme for any user.
I have taken major strides towards this; not a problem anymore.
5) The theme will be released in a finished state at some time in the future
(self-imposed limit: one year after the first alpha/public version, dynamism
must be at least version 0.8.)
I'd have to release a version first :)
5a) dynamism will follow the "Perfect Release" approach, using "Milestones".
see answer to 5
5b) The theme will be available for the major StepMania platforms
(Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, and Xbox)
uh yeah sure i'll get right to building that xbox sm4svn for you,
i bet it fucking crashes under the sheer weight of the default theme

not done yet, expect it as an official ssc doctrine
that midiman and shakesoda will blatantly ignore and that's fine i guess
i mean they're in ssc, they have to know what they're doing to be in ssc
